Today we block the remaining scenes of our sitcom and run through the order of scenes:
- Charlie, restaurant owner, introduces himself and the restaurant DISH
- Front of house staff from Oz pops his head out of doors to convince himself that it is really barbie weather (despite the rain)
- Voice over (Charlie) sound bridge of Charlie talking about his young American waitress Brook (cut to mid shot) who dances in front of three mixing bowls. She wear chopsticks in her hair. Her props: iPod, wooden spoons, mobile phone.
- Brook answers the phone from her boyfriend. She speaks in an American accent. She arranges to meet him after work.
- Chef Woo enters, takes his chopsticks from Brooks's hair and tells her off. Brook leaves.
- Voice over (Charlie) describing Chef. He chops vegetables very expertly. He dreams aloud about the wonderful Korean food he plans to cook at the restauarant.
- Georgie a British waitress enters and takes over. Voice-over (Charlie). She busies herself with cooking for a second then perches on a stool to delve into her hand bag then for make-up then paint her nails. She cuts in to talk about herself.
- Charlie the kitchen porter ambles on set to try to impress Georgie who ignores him. He brings her a cup of tea which she takes without even looking at him, then he backs out.
- Wide shot of whole staff lined up around the owner. He hold a menu with the word DISH on it. Slow zoom into the title 'Dish', the name of the restaurant.
