ACTION ADVENTURE

Today we do exam practice for the Action Adventure exam. We view the trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of The Crystal Skull (Steven Spielberg 2008) and answer these questions:

• Explain two ways in which the events in the trailer fit the action adventure genre (10 marks)
• Explain how each of the following is used to create effects: the soundtrack, camerawork, editing and mise-en-scene (20 marks)
• Discuss the ways in which people are represented. Make reference to stereotypes (10 marks)

PREP Complete the third piece of analysis for your representation of men / women in fragrance advertisements. This work must be posted on your blog by Tuesday 28 February.
