THE ART OF THE TITLE

Yr 11 PREP: Two pages on the analysis of two film openings (one page each, with the image from the website across the full width at the top in each). 

• Email me your prep by Saturday afternoon. Each post has the following title:
• 3.12.15 RESEARCH  ANALYSIS The Art of The Title of (your film title here)
  
• Introduce your post by explaining about the website and give the hyperlink
  
• First piece of analysis: Sherlock Holmes
• Second: your choice from The Art of The Title
• Write as fully as possible
• Draw attention to the features that make it a film opening, with examples
• Explain how it signals its genre (music, colours, setting, action and so on)
• Analyse the overall style

Yr 11 PREP for THURSDAY 10 December (no lesson < Carol Service)

• Compose a question and answer list in which you question one of your central characters. The idea is to 'hot seat' your character so that you start to develop them.
