Year 10 ADVERTISING

YEAR 10
For Unit 1, the Individual Media Studies Portfolio, we study Topic 9 Advertising. See our text book on page 95.
Today we study Diet Coke and Coke Zero television adverts Coke Zero meets James Bond .

We also look at how women have been represented in an early Listerine advert.
Next lesson we will look at representations of race in Pears soap adverts.
We will work from our class blog and you will create your own.

FRIDAY'S PREP:  Watch the clip again then write about the Coke Zero advert that you watched in the first lesson. Our focus is how the man and the brand are represented. 
Start by stating what you watched (remember that you are writing for your future examiner in order to prove that you have researched representation in the adverting industry.)
