EXERCISE: Watch this trailer and identify its action adventure codes.
This is what to say:
- what kind of action adventure film is it?
- what conventions does it have (speed and motion, combat and conflict, suspense and jeopardy, spectacle). BE PRECISE using a lot of WORDS to say what is (say) the sense of jeopardy.
- what characters does it feature that are typical action hero characters (or not)?
BE PRECISE using a lot of WORDS to say what qualities / strengths / abilities / behaviours the character has that makes them heroic /anti-heroic
