B321 Moderator’s Report: “This was an impressive sample. Candidates were given clear guidance and ample opportunity to demonstrate their understanding and their creativity. The centre is to be commended for the fact that candidates had chosen their own texts to analyse and these contrasted effectively.
The advertisements offered for the Production Exercise used lively, original images and were carefully constructed.”

B324 Moderator’s Report: “The sample was well organised and the work created, including the final products, had been well shot and edited.

“There was evidence of good organisation in the creation of the Production log for the candidates’ opening sequence, which in turn enabled the candidates to create some interesting final products. There was a clear understanding of how to set up a camera and a variety of shots were used when filming their opening sequence. The candidates showed they could work in a safe environment during filming. The candidates also made good editing decisions, when it came to creating their product.”
